The Motorcycle Safety Education Advisory Commission held its first meeting since December, 2006. KCRTC Director, Tim Cody, a member of the Commission since 2002, met with other members to discuss motorcycle safety and education concerns here in Kentucky. The MSEAC makes recommendation to the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety regarding issues of rider education and safety.

The group reorganized since the MSEAC had not been active in over 2 years and there were 5 new appointees. The upcoming meeting in March will delve into understanding motorcycle safety education in KY thru presentation by KMP Coordinator Wayne Steele. Other topics for the agenda are still pending.
